Overview

This package is a visit to the worlds’ most powerful waterfall and the true African Wilderness, whispers of the wild and the classic African wildlife experience the land of craters at the extreme Rift Valley wall. Experience the frightening sound when you first hear the roar of a Lion, a laugh of a hyena in the night. The National Parks we expect to visit include; Bwindi Impenetrable National park, Queen Elizabeth, Murchison Falls and Kidepo Valley National Park and as well as Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Itinerary

Day 1
Day1; Arrival at Entebee International Airport and city tour

On arrival at Entebbee, your driver/guide will be at Entebbe Airport to pick you up from your flight and take you directly to your guesthouse in Kampala. Depending on the time of your arrival, you may have the opportunity to explore the city of kampala in and around and get to learn how the local communities live their lives. Return to the Hotel for Dinner Relaxation and overnight.

Day 2
Day2; Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park

Early in the morning, you will have breakfast and your driver guide will guide you about your safari. You wull then drive to Bwindi. We head south west of Kampala with a stopover in Masaka to see the equator, take photos, vidieos and in Mbarara for lunch. Continue to Bwindi forest, home to Approximately 480 mountain gorillas/half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. Dinner, Relaxation and overnight.

Day 3
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking

After an early morning cup of tea, you will carry your packed lunch and our professional guide who is well verse with life in the jungle and driver will take you to the park Headquarters where you will be briefed through the rules and regulation. after the briefing, you will then be allocated a park guide with diverse skills and experince on life in the jungle. trekking then begins.
Gorrila trekking takes about 50minutes to 6 depending on where the gorillas are at that time. in the trek, you will be able to view different species of animals like buffaloes, Elephants, bush pigs and many more you will also view varieties plant species and birds such as Red faced woodland, flycatcher, handsome francoline, Rwenzori turaco etc. once the gorillas are found, you will be allowed to take an hour with them so that you learn their lifestle, take photoes and videos. after an hour with Gorilla you will then set back to the headquater where the you will meet you driver and tranfer back to the hotel where you will have dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Day 4; Game viewing in Queen Elizabeth National park

Early in the morning day 4, after breakfast, you will be transfered to Queen Elizabeth Natioal park by your driver guide. this journey will take you about 4 hours and on your way, you will stop in ishasha lions wiki where you will view lions on acacia/fig trees Branches of which the guide will explain to you why the lions in isahsa climb trees one reasons being bitting insects etc… after lions view in isasha you will then have an en-route lunch and proceeds to Queen Elizabeth Natioal Park.on arrivial to the park, you will have the oportunity to view various species of wildlife as you proceed to the lorge where you will have your dinner, relaxation and then overnight.

Day 5
Day 5; morning game drive and boat cruise

very early in the morning after breakfast, you will meet up with your driver guide and go for game drive where you will have the oportunity to trek lions in the plain of kasenyi. durring this game drive you should look for species of animals such as elephants, bush bucks, wathogs, water bucks, lions, leopards, bush-pigs, uganda kobs, giants forest hogs birds species such as crowned uganda cranes, yellow throated long crow, red throat spow fawl, African white back vulture among others. after the game drive, you will proceed to katwe creater lake where you will have an opportunity to interact with the local communities who earn their living through extraction of rock salt and sell it to traders. after the katwee creater lake tour, you will then drive back to the lodge for lunch

Boat cruise

After luch in the afteroon, you will go for an amazing boat-cruise in the kazinga chanel, a chanel that conects lake gorge and lake edward. the boad cruise will last for 2 to 3 hours where you will have the opportunity to take photos, vidieos, view large aguatic animals like hippos, crocodiles in water. animals like elephants, baffaloes, uganda kobs water bucks at the shoe of the lake. you will also view fishermen preparing thier fishing gears for night fishing. water birds such as pink backed pelican, black crake, king fisher etc. After the boat cruise, you will then set back to the loage where you will have dinener, relaxation and overnight.

Day 6
Day 6; Transfer to murchision Falls National park

On day 6 of your safari, you will wake up very early, take breakfast and check out of the lodge for Murchison falls national park which will take you roughly 7-8 hours drive. On you way you will view the ever green tea plantations in Fort Portal combined with spectacular landscape and views of Rwenzori ranges. Proceed to Hoima, via Kagadi for lunch at selected restaurants/hotels before proceeding to Murchison Falls National Park via Buliisa. This route is longer but more scenic and the memorable descent at the Rift Valley Escarpment with beautiful scenic views across Lake Albert towards the blue mountains of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Enjoy Bugungu wildlife reserve proceed and visit the top of Murchison and check in at the lodge late in the evening.

Day 7
Day 7; Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

Early morning after breakfast, go for a game drive in the Northern Nile delta circuit and check out for wildlife browsing in the open savannah grasslands such animals include leopards along the leopard track, Jackson’s hartebeest, large concentrations of Uganda Kobs because of the many breeding grounds and large families of the Defassa waterbuck, together with giraffe herds, groups of the dainty oribi and buffalo herds. The high supply of Kobs called for unavoidable pride of lions to the delta too. The delta also attracts birders with specials like the Abyssinian ground hornbill, shoebill (herons, waders, and egrets around small pools of water) Senegal thick-knee and Denham’s bustard. What’s not there? In the evening head out for a launch trip on the famous Nile River and value God’s creation of the Murchison Falls, the largest crocs, Hippos, and elephants playing in the water. Drive back to the lodge for lunch before proceeding for afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls, for the best adventurous experience in the primal wilderness presenting astonishing display of wildlife such as; Hippos, Crocodiles, Elephants.

Day 8
Day 8, Transfer to kidepo national Park

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will meet your driver guide and drive to Kidepo National Park. Enjoy the view of Acholi traditional homes/manyatta as you connect on the tarmac road via Anaka, stop over for lunch in Gulu at Churchill courts Hotel. Kidepo valley National Park is 134 Kilometres from Kitgum town, and you drive through a very beautiful and scenic view. From Kitgum Town, the drive start at the roundabout on the eastern edge of Kitgum town’s Centre through Kitgum – Matidi – Namkora, Rom before crossing a mountain and descending to Karenga and the park’s Lokimoit gate. The drive through Rom Mountain is regarded as the most tremendous drama with savanna grasslands and area of rich cultural interest for the plains around the park is dotted with Napore – Nyungea range, the Morungule Mountains, and Mt. Lomej in south Sudan in the semi-arid climate, enjoy the Karimojong homesteads.

Day 9
Day 9, Morning Game drive

Wake up in the middle of the action and watch the sunrise over the Morongole mountains while having breakfast. Then we begin our day of game viewing with a visit into the Narus valley in search of lion, elephant, giraffe, eland, zebra, and leopard and to marvel at the sight of the huge herd of buffalo grazing in the wetland. After lunch at camp you’ll have some time to enjoy the views before an evening game drive towards the seasonal Kidepo River in search of cheetah and ostrich. We’ll take a cold drink among the Barassas palms at the Kidepo sand River, from which the area takes its name before returning to camp for dinner.

Day 10
Day 10; Game Drive to Kanagorok Hot spring.

very early in the morning after breakfast, you will meet you guide driver and the park guide who will take you for a game drive to kanagorok hotspring where you will have the oportunity to view variety of animals such as Ostrict, Ziwa Rhinos, Elephants, possibly leopards and Lions etc roaming. you will then return to the logde for luch. in the afternoon you will have the cultural experience where you will meet the karamojong people at kapedo and get to learn their ways of life, their culture, dance, songs, etc you will interact with their local leaders, they will show you the kral, the grinding stones etc. you wll then return to the logde for dinner, relaxation and overnight

Day 11
Day 11; Nature walk

On day 3 of the 4 days of kidepo valley National Park Safari, you will enjoy a wildlife and African landscape and Nature Walk where you will have the opportunity to view variety of animals, birds, beautiful landscape, take photos and vidieos. Return the lodge for dinner, Relaxation and overnight

Day 12
Day 12; Rhino Treking at Ziwa

After breakfast we’ll break camp and head to Ziwa rhino sanctuary via the honeymoon game drive. (optional extra chimpanzee tracking). In the late afternoon, as the heat of the day begins to dissipate, you will go for your rhino trek. You’ll spend around 2 hours walking to and watching the rhinos. Although guarded 24/7, the rhinos live as wild and this is a unique opportunity to spend some time with these giants while supporting their reintroduction to the wild in Uganda.

Day 13
Day 13; departure to entebee
