Early in the morning pick up and briefing by our safari representative. Boad your safari van towards the masai-mara game reserve via the beautiful savannah grassland and the plains in the great rift-valley, enjoy the panoramic view of Mt. Suswa, Mt. margaret and Mt. longonot. Have lunch in Nakuru and camp at Lake bugoria in the late afternoon near the Hot spring. After breakfast, you will drive to through Lake Nakuru national park. Explore various species of birds such as flamingoes. In the early hours of the morning, the Lake is a sea of pink, covered by flamingos. Undoubtedly this is one of the most beautiful sights you will ever see. After enjoying the lake and the birds, you will then move on to the rest of the park. Lake Nakuru has the right balance of wild animals, and you will find the hunters as well as the hunted.The density of white and black rhinos is quite high here, and you will notice armed rangers in the vicinity of the rhinos.This is to protect them from poachers. There are also plenty of lions, buffaloes, zebras, and giraffes. After exploring the park for the better part of the morning, you will head back to the hotel for lunch.You have time for a quick swim or a few drinks, as soon, you will head out to the most significant part of the safari- the Masai Mara. Early in the morning after breakfast, you will drive through the park in search for wildlife. you’ll have the chance to watch predators such as leopards and lions out on the hunt while the air is still cool. Return to the lodge, have a picnic lunch and head out into the park for a day of discovery as you track the movements of the Wildebeest Migration (seasonal) or go in search of the Big Five. This is the last full day you will have at the Masai Mara and the most exciting yet. The day starts at dawn with a balloon safari. A balloon safari is one of the most exciting ways of doing a Masai Mara safari– from the air. For the balloon safari, your driver will pick you up and drop you at the meeting point. Here you will have some coffee as you wait for the balloon to be prepared. After boarding, the balloon will start going up. The view from here is magnificent, and you will be able to see as far as your eyes can allow. Herds of elephants will look like specks, and the meandering Mara River will be shining from down below. The balloon will follow the whims of the wind, going where the wind says. The balloon safari will take about an hour, and you will know it’s over when your pilot starts descending. As the exhilarating ride comes to an end, a sumptuous champagne breakfast will be served. After lunch you will have a cultural tour. you will drive to masai village and interact with the masai people who have a couple of activities to engage in including a mock wedding dance, masai warrior (moran) jumping dance, engage in some beadwork with the women, practice some traditional archery and spear throwing, learn the art of making a fire in the bush among many others things to see and do. Immediately after an early morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and go for an early morning game drive.
